About econpeak
Econpeak (econpeak.com) is an IB DP Economics revision website operated by an independent IB DP Educator and Examiner. By using the website or buying access to its content, you agree to these terms. Contact us at hello@mathbanks.com.
Accounts
You need an account to buy content. Keep your sign-in details secure and do not share your account: purchased access is for one person. If you are under 18, you must have a parent or guardian’s permission before making a purchase, and they should read these terms with you.
Purchases and prices
Prices are shown on the pricing page in US dollars (USD) and are charged as one-time payments, with no subscription or automatic renewal. Payments are processed by Stripe. Any taxes that apply are shown at checkout.
- Single model essay (US$4.99): access to the chosen paid essay for as long as econpeak offers that essay.
- All-access pass (US$59): access to every paid essay for 24 months from the date of purchase.
Access is provided online through your account as soon as the payment is confirmed. We may change prices in future, but a change will not affect access you have already bought.
Using the content
Econpeak content, including essays and diagrams, is licensed to you for your own personal, non-commercial study. You may not copy, sell, share, publish or redistribute it, share your account access, or use automated tools to download it. Teachers who want to use econpeak with a class should contact us first.
Model essays are study aids. Do not submit them, in whole or in part, as your own work: doing so may breach your school’s and the IB’s academic integrity rules.
Accuracy and availability
We take care to make the content accurate and aligned with the IB DP Economics syllabus, but it is provided for revision and we cannot guarantee any particular exam result. We may update, improve or remove content, and the website may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance.
All content on econpeak has been developed independently from, and is not endorsed by, the International Baccalaureate Organization. International Baccalaureate and IB are registered trademarks of the International Baccalaureate Organization.
Refunds and consumer rights
Refunds are covered by our refund policy. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other consumer protection laws that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Suspension
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, for example by sharing or redistributing paid content.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, econpeak is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you for any claim relating to the website or a purchase is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. This does not limit any liability that cannot be limited by law, including under the Australian Consumer Law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and you and econpeak submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date above identifies the latest version, and the terms that applied when you made a purchase continue to apply to that purchase.
